#144 Notes
I am not looking for followers. I am looking for others to follow Jesus with me.
1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
In other words, follow me as I follow the leading of Christ. And yes, men are called to lead within the Church.
Again, there are called men who lead within the Church.
Numbers 27:16 KJV Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
Numbers 27:17 KJV Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
Numbers 27:18 KJV And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
I think Paul forgot the pope.
1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
If you understand the subordinate role of the Son of man - Jesus, you will understand that the head of Jesus Christ is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - God, in accordance with the Father’s will. Men are subordinate to Christ in accordance with the Father’s will. A woman is to be subordinate to a man who is subordinate to Christ in accordance with the Father’s will.
The length of a woman's hair qualifies as a godly covering and distinction as a woman.
1 Corinthians 11:15 KJV But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
The length of man's hair will bring shame or honor. The tranny movement alone proves this.
1 Corinthians 11:14 KJV Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Paul says, you are going to do what you want, but as for the churches of God, this is how we do things.
1 Corinthians 11:16 KJV But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
How in the literal Hell is this "hateful content!?"
Heretical divisiveness and church splits are nothing new.
1 Corinthians 11:18 KJV For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
1 Corinthians 11:19 KJV For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
However, within the Body of Christ (Church) there is no divisiveness, and there are no splits. You are either functioning within the Body according to the Word, or you are not.
The Lord's Supper is an act of "Remembrance," not an act of cannibalization.
1 Corinthians 11:24 KJV And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1 Corinthians 11:25 KJV After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Way too many unrepentant unregenerates participate in the Lord’s supper unto their own damnation.
1 Corinthians 11:27 KJV Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 11:28 KJV But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
1 Corinthians 11:29 KJV For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
God protects us from our own stupidity.
1 Corinthians 11:32 KJV But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Church is not to be a party, nor a concert. It is to be a place of order and reverence.
1 Corinthians 11:34 KJV And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
It seems that the LORD does not consider the child in the womb the same as the abortionist.
Isaiah 49:1 KJV Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
This is a prophecy concerning the virgin conception of Jesus, the Son of God who became a man.
Jesus Christ the Son of man is Israel, and those in Him are the Israel of God.
Isaiah 49:1 KJV Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
Isaiah 49:2 KJV And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
Isaiah 49:3 KJV And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
There is a “preserved of Israel” (Remnant in Christ), and there is an antichrist Israel (those who oppose Christ). I am not sure why this is so difficult. The preserved of Israel initially preached the Gospel to the Gentiles, thus bringing salvation to the ends of the earth. All who have received this Gospel are called the Church.
Isaiah 49:6 KJV And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
If you are not in Christ, you are not among the “Chosen.”
Isaiah 49:7 KJV Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

The everlasting covenant is with the Preserved in Christ.
Isaiah 49:8 KJV Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
I too was once a prisoner of this dark world, until JESUS came by.
Isaiah 49:9 KJV That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
Are you following Christ? You are not, if you are still thirsty and hungry.
Isaiah 49:10 KJV They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Are you afflicted by this antichrist world? Call upon the LORD. He will comfort you.
Isaiah 49:13 KJV Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
There is a Zion of Christ and a counterfeit antichrist Zion. Do not confuse the two.
Isaiah 49:14 KJV But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
Isaiah 49:15 KJV Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
All flesh will know that Christ is King, one way or the other.
Isaiah 49:26 KJV And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
Those who die within the company of Korah will die in their own sin. Those who die within the company of Christ are forgiven.
Numbers 27:3 KJV Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
There is a Biblical precedent for ordination. However, it is God who calls and approves. Not the Church.
Numbers 27:22 KJV And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
Numbers 27:23 KJV And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
There is a time for war and time that Christian men must fight. These times are in God’s hands.
Psalms 144:1 KJV Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
