Our Christmas Tree
Our annual Christmas tree
We will display for whosoever to see
For all concerned, we do not worship this tree
We worship the one who hung upon it for you and me
We decorate it with the blessings we have received over time
Precious memories which bring us to a state of sublime
Under our tree presents are found lovingly wrapped with grace in mind
As we celebrate the ultimate gift to mankind
Our tree is a celebration of Jesus and his story
Not a pagan’s object of worship and personal glory
You may or may not decide to display a tree
And that is quite fine with me
But before you judge others who do
Keep in mind our tree has not been erected for you
