Christians have experienced much tribulation on this side of heaven, yet our response remains the same: we call upon the LORD.
Psalms 123:3 KJV Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Psalms 123:4 KJV Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
Psalms 123:1 KJV Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
I died on October 31, 1993.
Romans 6:1 KJV What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Romans 6:2 KJV God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 6:3 KJV Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Water baptism is a symbolic funeral, marking the death of the flesh, and a resurrection, ushering in the newness of life.
Romans 6:4 KJV Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:5 KJV For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Romans 6:6 KJV Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Romans 6:7 KJV For he that is dead is freed from sin.
If you are not crucified with Christ, you have yet to die.
Romans 6:10 KJV For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Romans 6:11 KJV Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Choosing not to sin is an intentional choice. I make this choice because I do not want to offend my holy God, who has shown me such love and grace.
Romans 6:12 KJV Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Romans 6:13 KJV Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Romans 6:14 KJV For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
How long have we chosen sin outside of Christ? Let us now choose righteousness in Him. For servants of sin are not servants of Christ.
Romans 6:18 KJV Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
I've noticed that the 'choose the lesser of two evils' argument isn't exclusive to Republicans and Democrats; it also applies to Jews and Muslims. Some claim Jews are more evil than Muslims, while others argue the opposite—mirroring the debate between Republicans and Democrats. Yet this argument falls short of God's standards and commands, which demand righteousness found only in Jesus Christ. Consequently, any Republican, Democrat, Jew, or Muslim who doesn't align with Jesus Christ is, simply put, evil—regardless of degrees. I find myself repeating this point, but the conclusion remains clear: choose Jesus Christ, not evil. Once you choose Him, you can then determine your greatest allies based on whether they choose Christ or evil.
Romans 6:19 KJV I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
The fruit of death is not the same as the fruit of holiness.
Romans 6:21 KJV What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
Romans 6:22 KJV But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
There is a price for sin—death—and Jesus paid it all!
Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Hair length is about distinction. Most men with long hair today have not taken a Nazirite vow, which involves separation from wine as a dedication to the Lord. In Paul's time, men with long hair were rebuked for their selfish, pagan, or homosexual motivations, which were contrary to nature and had no connection to the Lord.
Numbers 6:5 KJV All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
1 Corinthians 11:14 KJV Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Who is blessed?
Who has received the grace of God?
Who has received the peace of God?
Who bears the name of God?
Those in Christ - the Israel of God!
Numbers 6:22 KJV And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Numbers 6:23 KJV Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
Numbers 6:24 KJV The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
Numbers 6:25 KJV The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Numbers 6:26 KJV The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Numbers 6:27 KJV And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
The Northern Kingdom of Israel, also known as Ephraim, became a prideful, obese, and drunken land, led by a corrupt political and religious establishment. The Lord destroyed and dispersed it, yet He preserved His faithful remnant, who refused to make a covenant with death and would not agree with hell. I am perplexed as to why people refuse to acknowledge the distinction between Antichrist Israel and the Israel of God today.
Isaiah 28:14 KJV Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 28:15 KJV Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
The Remnant has always known the Precious Cornerstone, who is our Sure Foundation - Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 28:16 KJV Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
Christian Zionists would consider the LORD's strange work and act against Israel antisemitism today. Dear Christian, are you prepared to call the LORD evil for these things and call God an antisemite? Are you prepared to mock God in favor of an Israel that is in agreement with hell and has a covenant with death?
Isaiah 28:21 KJV For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
Isaiah 28:22 KJV Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
Father, thank You for the everlasting covenant of Christ. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
