Gospilled Minute #137
All of my children are a blessing to me in that they love and respect their parents while being responsible, law-abiding adults within society. We are also blessed to have seen their children. These blessings come from the true Zion, the Jerusalem above, upon the Israel of God—never to be confused with an antichrist Jerusalem below, which has blessed me with nothing.
Psalms 128:1 KJV Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
Psalms 128:2 KJV For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Psalms 128:3 KJV Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
Psalms 128:4 KJV Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
Psalms 128:5 KJV The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Psalms 128:6 KJV Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
Has God cast away the Israelite, commonly known as the Jew? In other words, is it impossible for a Jew to be saved? No! God has not completely cut the Jews off from salvation. Paul is a perfect example of God’s grace shown to the Jews. This grace has continued in the lives of many Jews who have become Christians since Paul’s time.
Romans 11:1 KJV I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Romans 11:2 KJV God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
Who are 'they'? Cowards call the answer antisemitism. Fools preach that we must bless those who are contrary to God and all men in order to be blessed.
Romans 11:3 KJV Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
1 Thessalonians 2:14 KJV For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
1 Thessalonians 2:15 KJV Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
Who are God's people among national Israel of old? The remnant, according to the election of grace, to which Paul became a member by faith.
Romans 11:4 KJV But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Romans 11:5 KJV Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
No one is eternally saved by their own filthy and sinful works. You won't find a single case in the Bible where that occurred. What you will find is that we are saved by God's works, accomplished through Jesus Christ.
Romans 11:6 KJV And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Some Jews will be saved, not all Jews. Paul understood this clear distinction; dispensationalists do not.
Romans 11:14 KJV If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
All Gentiles, including myself, who have been born again have been grafted into the olive tree, the Body of Christ, by faith. Similarly, Jews who have been regrafted by faith into the Church of God are no longer to be despised as outsiders and traitors within the congregation. Instead, they should be celebrated as fellow children of God. As for those who harbor hatred for any of the brethren, whether formerly Jewish or not, they will be identified as tares within the Church, lacking true faith, and will be broken off – just as the unbelieving Jews within national Israel were, regardless of whether they call themselves Christian or not.
Romans 11:17 KJV And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Romans 11:18 KJV Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Romans 11:19 KJV Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Romans 11:20 KJV Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Romans 11:21 KJV For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Romans 11:22 KJV Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:23 KJV And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Romans 11:24 KJV For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
If you understand the election according to grace, you will understand many things, and will not hate such things and be thankful for such things.
Romans 11:28 KJV As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
The Israel of God is not the modern state of Israel. Do you see mass immigration of Gentile Christians within its antichrist borders? The blindness, rather, has befallen the remnant of Israelites who have yet to be gathered through God's gift of faith in Jesus Christ. Will there be a revival during the Tribulation, where many Jews turn to Christ? I believe Scripture indicates this will indeed happen, as evidenced by the two witnesses and the 144,000 who will preach the Gospel.
Romans 11:25 KJV For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
In other words, all of the Church, the Body of Christ, will be saved and the tares will be removed. This verse alone should prove to you that the national state of Israel - whether physical descendants of Abraham or not - are not all saved. This Israel, clearly, is the Israel of God - the Olive Tree - comprising all those who are in Christ.
Dispensationalists believe one-third of Jews will be saved during a "Great Tribulation," contradicting the idea that all Israel will be saved if Israel is a national entity rather than the Body of Christ.
Romans 11:26 KJV And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
This is the everlasting covenant of Jesus Christ.
Romans 11:27 KJV For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
If you have been saved by God's gift of faith and called according to His purpose, there is no losing such a gift or calling. It is never a matter of losing such a gift; it is always a matter of receiving it.
Romans 11:29 KJV For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Anyone who believes does so because of the mercy of God through faith. All of salvation is from God, packaged in a gift called faith. It opens the eyes and ears and transforms the heart, mind, and soul.
Romans 11:30 KJV For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Romans 11:31 KJV Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
Romans 11:32 KJV For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Romans 11:33 KJV O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Many think they know the mind of the Lord, yet they know nothing without Jesus Christ, including Romans 11. 'Read Romans 11, read Romans 11,' they say. I have. Have you?
Romans 11:34 KJV For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Romans 11:35 KJV Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
Romans 11:36 KJV For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
Complainers are rarely content, and those who are content in Christ rarely complain.
Numbers 11:1 KJV And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
Numbers 11:2 KJV And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
Mixed multitudes never mix well without Christ.
Numbers 11:4 KJV And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
Pastors are not supermen. I do not care if they wear a King James Bible cape.
Numbers 11:14 KJV I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
Numbers 11:15 KJV And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
The plurality of elders is biblical, especially in larger churches.
Numbers 11:16 KJV And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
Numbers 11:17 KJV And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
If the Spirit of God has filled a man, he cannot help but preach, regardless of whether he is paid to do so or not.
Numbers 11:25 KJV And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
Jealous of other preachers? Why? We need more preachers!
Numbers 11:27 KJV And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
Numbers 11:28 KJV And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
Numbers 11:29 KJV And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
Complaining may get you what you want, but it can also lead to death.
Numbers 11:33 KJV And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
God's people have always gone through times of trouble, and when they do, they call upon the Lord, seeking mercy, grace, and salvation.
Isaiah 33:2 KJV O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
When you see the instability of the world, do not forget where stability and salvation are found.
Isaiah 33:6 KJV And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
As long as AIPAC exists the bribes will continue in America.
Isaiah 33:15 KJV He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
Isaiah knew Jesus.
Isaiah 33:22 KJV For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
Father, thank You for contentment. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
