The only Biblical cause for divorce is sexual immorality. However, I have seen many marriages survive the devastating impact of infidelity. I do not encourage any divorce; however, I understand the complexity of cases that involve abuse, etc. Regardless, I have committed to not officiating any marriage where there has been a previous divorce because of the unjustifiable divorce rate in America and the Scriptural command we have been given.
