Usury (compounded interest loans) is not without rebuke.
Psalms 15:5 KJV He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Nehemiah 5:7 KJV Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.

The modern state of Israel is not the Israel of God.
Genesis 15:18 KJV In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
One Israel does not look like the other:
One Israel looks like a shield, while the other does not. Perhaps this is related to the fact that, in the opening of Genesis 15, the LORD declares Himself to be Abraham's shield.
Genesis 15:1 KJV After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
The greatest distinguishing factor between the modern Israel of our day and the biblical Israel of old is belief that LORD is a shield to all who trust in Him.
Genesis 15:6 KJV And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Psalms 115:9 KJV O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
David clearly understood this as his father Abraham understood this.
2 Samuel 22:3 KJV The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
2 Samuel 22:36 KJV Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
This shield of Abraham was the shield of Davidic Israel and is the shield of Christ—a shield that has always been wielded by faith.
Ephesians 6:16 KJV Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
This faith is the difference between those who seek good for their neighbor and those who seek evil.
Good:
Psalms 15:1 KJV A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
Psalms 15:2 KJV He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Evil:
Psalms 15:3 KJV He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
Psalms 15:4 KJV In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
Nehemiah sought good on behalf of his people and nation. American politicians seek their own good for other nations and people.
Nehemiah 5:19 KJV Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.
The context of the house of Israel is the context of the Israel of God, of which the Canaanite woman was a part. She was once lost as an enemy of the Israelite God, but then was found in Christ by faith as a member of the Israel of God.
Matthew 15:22 KJV And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Matthew 15:23 KJV But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Matthew 15:24 KJV But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 15:25 KJV Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

Jesus gave instructions on how to deal with the Jews who opposed Him and were constantly offended by His doctrine. Yet for some reason, there is a special class of noticers today who believe they are John Rambo in these matters.
Matthew 15:12 KJV Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
Matthew 15:13 KJV But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Matthew 15:14 KJV Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
I do not care what your catechism states, the traditions of men have never equated to the Word of God. If such tradition does not align with Scripture it aligns with Hell.
Matthew 15:6 KJV …Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Matthew 15:7 KJV Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
Matthew 15:8 KJV This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matthew 15:9 KJV But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
