I will go to my grave in peace, knowing that I have led my children in the right paths. I have shown them where true wisdom exists and how to apply it in success and failure. Now it is up to them, in their adult years, to hold fast to this instruction, for in it is the life found in Christ.
Proverbs 4:11 KJV I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
Proverbs 4:12 KJV When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
Proverbs 4:13 KJV Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
The wide path of death looks left and right.
The narrow path of life looks up.
Proverbs 4:27 KJV Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
We are just pilgrims, tabernacles of Christ, traveling through this world on our way to our eternal home in the heavens.
2 Corinthians 5:1 KJV For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Our physical body rests in death until the resurrection, while our spirit in Christ goes to be with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
As believers, we will account for how we lived our lives as Christians. Those who think such a life is a sinful free-for-all will face a rude awakening at a separate judgment by the same Judge.
2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
They will see the terror of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:11 KJV Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
The show-biz preachers who glory in appearance and not in heart are nothing new.
2 Corinthians 5:12 KJV For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
Ask yourself this question every day: 'Who am I living for today?' If the answer isn't Jesus Christ, then you haven't yet begun to live.
2 Corinthians 5:15 KJV And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
If you have been given new life in Christ, it is unmistakable and undeniable.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
If you are unwilling to be reconciled with others, I doubt that you have been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Those who have been reconciled by Christ are committed to the ministry and word of reconciliation. We didn’t deserve to be forgiven, yet God has forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Woe to those who call themselves Christians yet refuse to reconcile with those whom God has reconciled. My door remains open to reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
The land belongs to the seed of Abraham, Jesus Christ, not to the antichrists.
Deuteronomy 1:8 KJV Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
Galatians 3:16 KJV Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Gospilled Minute #150
The stars of heaven represent the blessed seed of Abraham in Christ, the Bright and Morning Star. Bless these stars—Christians—and you will be blessed. Curse these stars—Christians—and you will be cursed.
Deuteronomy 1:10 KJV The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
Deuteronomy 1:11 KJV (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)
Daniel 12:3 KJV And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Revelation 22:16 KJV I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
A rebuke to the modern 1948 Antichrist Israel:
Isaiah 59:1 KJV Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isaiah 59:2 KJV But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Isaiah 59:3 KJV For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
Isaiah 59:4 KJV None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
Isaiah 59:5 KJV They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
Isaiah 59:6 KJV Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
Isaiah 59:7 KJV Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
Isaiah 59:8 KJV The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
Isaiah 59:9 KJV Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
Isaiah 59:10 KJV We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.
Isaiah 59:11 KJV We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
Isaiah 59:12 KJV For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
Isaiah 59:13 KJV In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
The LORD is coming to judge this very Israel.
Isaiah 59:16 KJV And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
Isaiah 59:17 KJV For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
Isaiah 59:18 KJV According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
The LORD’s covenant is with those who turn from transgression, a condition fulfilled solely through Christ.
Isaiah 59:20 KJV And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
Isaiah 59:21 KJV As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
Father, strengthen us to seek reconciliation with others as You have reconciled us to Yourself. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
