For the most part, people do not want the truth because it ultimately exposes and defeats the god of self.
Proverbs 18:2 KJV A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.
There is safety in proclaiming the Name of the LORD and the Word of God, as the enemy often ignores you, being preoccupied with controlling the minds of the masses and rendering you a minor threat. Similarly, those who claim to know the LORD dismiss you, as the Word of God challenges their traditions and denominational talking points. This can be a lonely place, but it is indeed a safe one.
Proverbs 18:10 KJV The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
We often assume we understand someone based on a headline or a character-limited social media post in a public feed, but do we truly know the person, their intent, or the context of their post? Most likely not. People unfamiliar with my work and who do not care about who I am occasionally misinterpret my posts and comment ignorantly. Sometimes I reply, but nowadays, having repeated the context so many times, I often just move on.
Proverbs 18:13 KJV He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.
God has spoken life to us through Jesus Christ, and may we speak this life to others. We are permitted only so many words before we can speak no more on this side of eternity. May we choose these words wisely.
Proverbs 18:21 KJV Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
The LORD favored me with such a wife 30 years ago this summer. I did not find her in a newspaper ad, online, through an app, or at a bar. I found her at church. He then blessed us with four children and six grandchildren so far.
Proverbs 18:22 KJV Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
This is always a challenge for the introvert, but when they make a true friend, their friendship is always close.
Proverbs 18:24 KJV A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
If we attacked our own faults with the same fervor we attack others' faults, this world would be a much different place. We constantly seek mercy and grace from God, yet we rarely extend the same to others. This shouldn't be the case.
Galatians 6:1-3 KJV Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
It's impossible to compare my level of spirituality with another's, for we've all been given various measures of faith that have been molded and shaped into who we are today. Live up to your own measure of faith, and you'll inspire others to do the same.
Galatians 6:4-5 KJV But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden.
Not many people support and partner (communicate) with this work called Gospilled, but when they do, I say thank you.
Galatians 6:6 KJV Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
If your life is in shambles, filled with feelings of hopelessness, uproot the sin and evil that's been sown in your life and begin sowing spiritual things. Of course, this will include contending with pests and weeds; however, you'll reap hope and peace in future harvests like never before.
Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Galatians 6:8 KJV For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Galatians 6:9 KJV And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
If you're not good to your own household, I doubt you'll extend goodness to the household of faith. Men, you're not being good to your home if you don't provide for it, and you're not being good to your church if you don't support it.
Galatians 6:10 KJV As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
No sinful person can truly claim to be a perfect keeper of the Torah or God’s law. Such boasts are mere badges of pride, worn by those who seek to claim you as a feather in their cap of hypocrisy.
Galatians 6:13 KJV For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
If you were dead in your sins, with no hope in life but the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, what part of this past death do you have to boast about? Our dead flesh contributes nothing to the glory of God.
Galatians 6:14 KJV But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Gospilled Minute #163
The Israel of God is neither Jew (circumcision) nor Gentile (uncircumcision). The Israel of God is a new creature, the Church, which is the Body of Christ. If you don't understand this, you understand very little and will remain greatly confused. Just remember, God is not the author of confusion.
Galatians 6:15 KJV For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Galatians 6:16 KJV And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Modern Israel is not the Israel of the Bible; otherwise, it would not depend on billions in aid each year from the United States.
Deuteronomy 15:6 KJV For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
Very few churches consider the needs of the poor today, even though pure religion is clearly defined as ministering to the afflicted. They consider them more of a nuisance than anything else.
Deuteronomy 15:7 KJV If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
Deuteronomy 15:8 KJV But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
James 1:27 KJV Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Deuteronomy 15:11 KJV For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
Just because people attend church does not mean they do not require rebuke.
Jeremiah 7:2 KJV Stand in the gate of the LORD'S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.
Jeremiah 7:3 KJV Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
People place false assurance in salvation that's based on lineage and even a superficial prayer, both void of true faith that includes repentance. This is why places of worship became dens of robbers then, and why churches do so today.
Jeremiah 7:9 KJV Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;
Jeremiah 7:10 KJV And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?
Jeremiah 7:11 KJV Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
National physical Israel consists of two seeds: the cast-out seed and the seed of Christ. You need to understand which Jerusalem you are loving and praying for. If it’s not rooted in the seed of Christ, you are an idolater.
Jeremiah 7:15 KJV And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
Jeremiah 7:16 KJV Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
Psalms 122:6 KJV Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Galatians 4:26 KJV But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Desolation always finds a Christless Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 7:34 KJV Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
The Catholics are not the only ones who pray to a queen of heaven; the Jews did too.
Jeremiah 7:18 KJV The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
Salvation has always been conditioned upon faith in the voice of God—Jesus Christ—the Word of God. National Israel didn't get a free pass without Him, and neither do you or I.
Jeremiah 7:23 KJV But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
Jeremiah 7:24 KJV But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
John 10:27 KJV My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
National Israel has been given many chances to trust in Christ and chose to become a generation of the LORD's wrath instead.
Jeremiah 7:27 KJV Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
Jeremiah 7:28 KJV But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
Jeremiah 7:29 KJV Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
The Jews are evil and have polluted the house of God while practicing abortion (infanticide)!? Is God an antisemite?
Jeremiah 7:30 KJV For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.
Jeremiah 7:31 KJV And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.
Father, help us to be good stewards of our giving. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
