We are weak, but He is mighty. Therefore, I thank the LORD daily for His mercy and healing.
Psalms 6:2 KJV Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
In Chapter 4, I stated that the rapture is not a hidden event on the Day of Christ. Some claim it is hidden, citing its description as coming ‘like a thief in the night.’ However, it is the Day of the LORD — the judgment of God, not the rapture — that will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night, for unbelievers. Neither the Day of Christ nor the Day of the LORD is a surprise to believers, who are prepared by tribulation signs and spiritual readiness through the Word of God. As 1 Thessalonians 5:4 states, those overtaken by the Day of the LORD are in darkness, unprepared for its arrival.
1 Thessalonians 5:1 KJV But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1 Thessalonians 5:2 KJV For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJV For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 KJV But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
God’s wrath, the judgment of the Day of the LORD, does not await believers. It is distinct from tribulation, great or otherwise, for believers have always suffered tribulation and will continue to do so until the Day of Christ, our redemption, which is the rapture at the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Thessalonians 3:4 KJV For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
All that I know is that if you are not under Christ, you are not over me.
1 Thessalonians 5:12 KJV And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
1 Thessalonians 5:13 KJV And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
I have learned this more deeply through my adult children, all of whom love me and desire a relationship with me. I warn them when they speak of their sins without repentance, and instead of reacting angrily in an attempt to force their will and heart to change to please me, I continue to love them patiently, with the hope that they will love and please God according to His will.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 KJV Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:15 KJV See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
If the truth offends you, that is too bad.
If you are not praying throughout the day, you are not rejoicing throughout the day, which means you are not only unthankful but also unconcerned about God’s will, and therefore you quench the Spirit, if the Spirit abides in you at all.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 KJV Rejoice evermore.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV Pray without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:19 KJV Quench not the Spirit.
Including sound eschatology that does not align with your denomination's talking points.
1 Thessalonians 5:20 KJV Despise not prophesyings.
Wolves in sheep's clothing love denominational labels and badges for their apparel. They gladly abide by them and display them.
1 Thessalonians 5:22 KJV Abstain from all appearance of evil.
If you are not growing, you have not been born again. You must be born again!
1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are faithful only because He is faithful.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 KJV Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
1 Thessalonians 5:25 KJV Brethren, pray for us.
Gospilled Minute #179
The Lord established the canon of Scripture we have today, not man. The statement that the Catholic Church gave us the Word of God is blasphemy.
1 Thessalonians 5:27 KJV I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
1 Thessalonians 5:28 KJV The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
The land belongs to Christ, the Seed, it always has.
Deuteronomy 34:4 KJV And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
Galatians 3:16 KJV Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
The city of the Jews is a curse unto the nations because the Jews have not obeyed the Word of God in Christ. Only fools call such a city their greatest ally.
Jeremiah 26:4 KJV And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
Jeremiah 26:5 KJV To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
Jeremiah 26:6 KJV Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
The antichrists condemned Jeremiah for the crime of antisemitism, as they condemn all who oppose them today with the same false accusation and defamation.
Jeremiah 26:8 KJV Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
Jeremiah 26:9 KJV Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
Jeremiah 26:11 KJV Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
Jeremiah feared God more than the false accusations and defamation of the antichrists.
Jeremiah 26:12 KJV Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.
Jeremiah 26:13 KJV Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
If Jeremiah were alive today, he would oppose the antichrists with the Word of God, not a Hitler ode.
Jeremiah was prepared to die for Christ at the hands of the Jews.
Jeremiah 26:14 KJV As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.
Jeremiah 26:15 KJV But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
The Jews who repented and turned to Christ throughout history are the Remnant.
Jeremiah 26:16 KJV Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.
Since few actually teach the Bible, I had to read and study it for myself before I could begin to teach it.
Father, may we fear You more than men. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
