Gospilled Minute #188
Triadic Revelation of Christ as God
King David, the Psalmist and King, declared his love for the Triune God in the book of Psalms, describing the LORD with three triads—Rock, Fortress, Deliverer; God, Strength, Trust; Buckler, Horn of Salvation, High Tower.
Psalms 18:2 KJV The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
These triads all point to the manifestation of God, whom we know as the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, no one, not even David, knows God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit without knowing Jesus Christ.
Jesus is our Rock.
1 Corinthians 10:4 KJV And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Jesus is our Fortress.
John 10:28 KJV And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 KJV My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John 10:30 KJV I and my Father are one.
Jesus is our Deliverer.
Romans 11:26 KJV And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Jesus is God.
John 20:28 KJV And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
John 20:29 KJV Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Jesus is our Strength.
Philippians 4:13 KJV I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Jesus is our Trust.
John 14:1 KJV Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Jesus is our Buckler (a shield designed for close combat).
Ephesians 6:16 KJV Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Jesus is our Savation.
Luke 1:69 KJV And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
Jesus is our High Tower.
Acts 5:31 KJV Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
David knew our Lord Jesus Christ and the fact that He is our divine Defender and Deliverer.
Psalms 18:30 KJV As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Psalms 18:46 KJV The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
The Psalmist said he was a lover of God. If you are not a lover of God, you will be a lover of self.
Psalms 18:1 KJV I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
2 Timothy 3:1 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:2 KJV For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 KJV Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2 Timothy 3:4 KJV Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
A form of godliness without the power of Jesus Christ is vain and void. No number of academic degrees can change this truth.
2 Timothy 3:5 KJV Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:7 KJV Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The Christian life is marked by these things. A life without them is not marked or sealed by Christ.
2 Timothy 3:10 KJV But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
2 Timothy 3:11 KJV Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
2 Timothy 3:12 KJV Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
AI will greatly assist the deception of evil men, while the Word of God will continue to expose them.
2 Timothy 3:13 KJV But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
If you do not prayerfully study the Word of God, you will be among the deceived.
2 Timothy 3:14 KJV But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
2 Timothy 3:15 KJV And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 KJV That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
I believe the Bible describes literal giants, comprising various tribes, including the Rephaim, who were one such tribe, along with the Nephilim, Anakim, Zamzummim, and Emim, in connection with the land of Canaan and its neighboring regions.
Joshua 12:4 KJV And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
I am not sure I have ever heard a health-and-wealth gospel preacher turn to a Jeremiah text. True ministry is never as glamorous as they deceive so many into believing it is.
Jeremiah 38:6 KJV Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
Father, thank You for Your divine defense and deliverance. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
