Gospilled Minute #76:
Some politicians and kings have found great joy in the strength of the LORD and have rejoiced in His salvation. However, many more have not.
Psalms 21:1 KJV The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
The Name of Jesus Christ was invoked twice during 'The 60th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.'
Once by Franklin Graham:
“We know that America can never be great again if we turn our backs on You. We ask for Your help, and we pray all of this in the Name of the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, Your Son, my Savior, and our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
And once by Lorenzo Sewell:
“Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we are so grateful today.”
The Jewish rabbis and Catholic priests who also prayed at the Inauguration did not mention the name of Jesus.
If Jesus Christ is the sole mediator between God and man, then all prayer should be in His Name.
1 Timothy 2:5 KJV For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
When an unfabricated holocaust from God occurs, there are no debates or doubts.
Psalms 21:9 KJV Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
The LORD has been exalted long before He created us, and I am just glad to now be a part of His worship team.
Psalms 21:13 KJV Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
God has amazed me many times, to the point that all I could do was laugh. God often laughs, and I enjoy laughing with Him.
Genesis 21:6 KJV And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
Men, with a divorce rate exceeding 50% even among Christian churches, what makes you think you could handle more than one wife, even if it were Biblically permissible? Like I said, God laughs, and I laugh with Him.
Genesis 21:9 KJV And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
Genesis 21:10 KJV Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
Genesis 21:11 KJV And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
If you walk faithfully with the LORD, even many of the heathen will come to respect it; however, no one respects a hypocrite.
Genesis 21:22 KJV And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:
Abraham engaged in diplomacy with a Philistine king, highlighting the distinction between serving as an ambassador for the LORD and committing treason by forming alliances that declare an enemy of Christ to be the greatest ally.
Genesis 21:32 KJV Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.
Jerusalem was the capital of Judah (the Jews) after the Kingdom of Israel was split. The Daughter of Zion is Jerusalem, which is why Jesus is referred to as the King of the Jews and why we, as spiritual descendants ('Jews' in Him by faith), say Christ is King.
Matthew 21:4 KJV All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
Matthew 21:5 KJV Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
David was a king of both Judah and Israel. Jesus, the Son of David, is the King of both Judah and Israel. There is no denying the Jewish lineage of Jesus. He was born among the worst to save the worst who trust in Him.
Matthew 21:9 KJV And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Imagine Jesus walking into a commercial, consumer-driven Christian church today.
Matthew 21:12 KJV And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Matthew 21:13 KJV And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
As they are displeased today while attempting to usurp His throne.
Matthew 21:15 KJV And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
Many churches today have leaves with no fruit and then wonder why they wither away.
Matthew 21:19 KJV And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
Matthew 21:20 KJV And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
In accordance with the will of God, not our will.
Matthew 21:22 KJV And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
John the Baptist had the respect of the people as a servant of the Word of God. Such men are rare today; those who have attained such stature through faithfulness are a great threat to the antichrist establishment.
Matthew 21:25 KJV The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
Matthew 21:26 KJV But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
Matthew 21:27 KJV And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
Lip action is not always synonymous with heart action that causes one to actually act. There is a short distance between heaven and hell, which is the distance between the mouth and the heart.
Matthew 21:28 KJV But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
Matthew 21:29 KJV He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
Matthew 21:30 KJV And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
Matthew 21:31 KJV Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
Matthew 21:32 KJV For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
The nation from which the Kingdom of God has been taken is not our greatest ally.
Matthew 21:43 KJV Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Matthew 21:44 KJV And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Matthew 21:45 KJV And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
May America fear such a multitude once again.
Matthew 21:46 KJV But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
Jerusalem is a blessed city with Christ and a cursed city without Him.
Nehemiah 11:2 KJV And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
I am not interested in a Golden Age. I am interested in the Kingdom Age.
Matthew 6:10 KJV Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Father, we have found great joy in your strength and salvation. May we be the faithful ambassadors that you have called us to be. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
