I'm not sure why certain Jews have a problem with 'Christ is King,' even if they don't believe Jesus is the Christ or King. As for me, I worship Him as both and as LORD.
Psalms 29:10 KJV The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
His people worship Him as Christ, King, and LORD.
Psalms 29:11 KJV The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Gospilled Minute #199
The following passage is hypothetical: “if they shall fall away.” If a believer were able to fall away from God’s gift of faith that saves, keeps, and seals, they would not be able to receive this gift again. Therefore, those who erroneously teach that genuine salvation can be lost fail to recognize that it can never be regained. All I can say is, thank God this is hypothetical, because we would all be doomed. God’s gift of faith never apostatizes; unregenerate men do.
Hebrews 6:4 KJV For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Hebrews 6:5 KJV And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Hebrews 6:6 KJV If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
If you can personally lose your salvation, you must personally work to maintain it. At this point, salvation would no longer be by grace but would consist of dead works. Paul rebukes the Hebrews for this false doctrine; he does not encourage it.
Hebrews 6:1 KJV Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
God's gift of faith and grace bears fruit. The works of men are like thorns and briars that will be burned; they have no power to save, keep, or seal.
Hebrews 6:7 KJV For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
Hebrews 6:8 KJV But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Genuine salvation is accompanied by this fruit.
Hebrews 6:9 KJV But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
Hebrews 6:10 KJV For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Lazy Christians who seek entertainment are not faithful Christians who work.
Hebrews 6:12 KJV That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
God's salvation is immutable, unchangeable, and irreversible. He has given us His oath and promise to save us by faith through Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is never a matter of losing salvation but always a matter of receiving it.
Hebrews 6:17 KJV Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Hebrews 6:18 KJV That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Hebrews 6:19 KJV Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Hebrews 6:20 KJV Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
The LORD fought for the Israel of God then, as He fights for the Israel of God (the Body of Christ, the Church) now. If a person or nation does not love Jesus Christ the Lord, that person or nation does not love the LORD God. The land promise was conditional upon this love. Therefore, the antichrist squatters who possess the land now, who do not love the Lord Jesus Christ, will soon see their “squatter rights” expire.
Joshua 23:10 KJV One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.
Joshua 23:11 KJV Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God.
Eviction Day is coming!
Joshua 23:15 KJV Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
Joshua 23:16 KJV When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.
If you understand the spiritual distinction between Jacob and Esau, you will understand many things, including the infiltration of the Ammonites, Edomites, and others among Israel, which led many to Jews to worship Moloch.
Jeremiah 49:10 KJV But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
Father, thank You for eternal security in Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
