The whole Bible points to Jesus Christ.
Psalms 40:7 KJV Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
It is impossible to understand the world’s conflicts without first recognizing the war within the flesh—a battle between the spirit of the antichrist and the Spirit of Christ. Our actions today reveal which spirit we oppose and which we champion. Therefore, choose your greatest allies with wisdom.
James 4:1 KJV From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Submission is an exercise of faith and disobedience. Submit to God, or you will submit to the devil.
James 4:7 KJV Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
My particular favorites are those who claim to know whether someone else who professes to be a Christian is going to hell or not based on how they align with their denominational talking points. Actually, I fear for these people.
James 4:11 KJV Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
James 4:12 KJV There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
Planning for the future is not evil. Believing you own the future and, furthermore, that the future owes you is evil.
James 4:13 KJV Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
James 4:14 KJV Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
James 4:15 KJV For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:16 KJV But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Apathy and laziness are not barriers to sin.
James 4:17 KJV Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
If you mess with the Best, you will die with the rest.
1 Samuel 6:19 KJV And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
1 Samuel 6:20 KJV And the men of Bethshemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
Many Christians have quoted this passage, yet still refuse to warn the Antichrist Israelites out of fear of being called an antisemite. They fear the label of antisemite more than the label of antichrist.
Ezekiel 3:17 KJV Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Ezekiel 3:18 KJV When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
I am commanded to preach the Bible whether people listen or not.
Ezekiel 3:27 KJV But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
