Jesus Christ is the LORD (Yahweh)! There are factions today that portray Yahweh (Jehovah/Adonai) as an evil demigod, even though the name 'Jesus' literally means 'Yahweh Saves'! There is only one King over all the earth: Christ is King!

Then there are those who still insist that Jesus is not the LORD God as the Son of God and King over all the earth, but at least they admit that only God can forgive sins, with which I agree.

If your sins are forgiven, you will be baptized according to the same faith that has made you whole. Baptism is a public declaration of the new life in Christ, which involves believing, repenting, and working for His honor and glory. If you have no intention of dedicating the remainder of your life to the work and will of God, do not get baptized.

Everyone will see the salvation of God - Jesus Christ at the Judgment, regardless. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord and King of all the earth.

God does not care if you are Jewish or anything else, but whether you are a true Born-Again Christian. A generation of vipers is not your greatest ally, Christian. Not even the physical seed of Abraham gets a free salvation pass without Christ.

Jesus was baptized as a public profession before the Godhead, all of heaven, and earth, that He alone washes away sin. We are baptized as a public profession to tell the world that our sins have been washed away by the Blood of the Lamb.
