Many believe they can be saved through their own name and judged by their own strength of character. They are in for a rude awakening without Jesus Christ, the Name by which we are saved and the strength by which we will be judged.

I used to be part of the Independent Fundamental Baptist (IFB) movement. While there are some genuine Christians within it, the establishment itself often resembles the priest and Levite in the parable. I imagine Moses had second thoughts about obeying God. If I were in his shoes, my flesh would also fear the prospect of facing Pharaoh again. Nevertheless, by God's strength and grace, I would resolve that if I am to die, I will die by the hand of the LORD in His service, not against His service.
