David was a king of the Jews, and even he noticed the antichrist element in the midst of his fold, which consisted of faithless Israelites and godless converts such as the Edomites who refused the mercy of God.
Psalms 59:5 KJV Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
It’s hard not to notice.
Psalms 59:12 KJV For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
God laughs at the antichrist devices throughout history and I laugh with Him.
Psalms 59:8 KJV But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
I believe David understood the strength and power of the Godhead as he addresses Him, Thee, and God.
Psalms 59:9 KJV Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
Despite what this antichrist world throws at us, sing, my Christ friends, sing! For we have a great Shield of Defense and Mercy.
Psalms 59:16-17 KJV But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
Gospilled Minute #95
I used to be an Independent Fundamental Baptist and wondered who the Pharisees and scribes of our day were. Soon, I realized I was sitting among them. I do not think that many in this camp have forgotten where they came from; they simply never left their inital pride, so I left it instead. I do not believe this pride is unique and all-encompassing to this camp either.
Luke 15:1-2 KJV Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
You can argue all about the doctrine of repentance as much as you want. I will argue that if you have true repentance, which is part of God's gift of faith, it will endure to the end. The joy of heaven concerning one who is found never turns to mourning, because they are then lost. If you have been truly found, you have been truly saved.
Luke 15:4 KJV What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Luke 15:5 KJV And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luke 15:6 KJV And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Luke 15:7 KJV I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
If you want the Bread of Life that sustains throughout eternity, go to the Father through Jesus Christ. And if you want to know what true repentance and salvation look like, you need not look any further than the prodigal son.
Luke 15:17 KJV And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
Luke 15:18 KJV I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
Luke 15:19 KJV And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
Luke 15:20 KJV And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Luke 15:21 KJV And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
Luke 15:22 KJV But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
Luke 15:23 KJV And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
Luke 15:24 KJV For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Bitterness and envy have no place in the House of God, for we are all saved by the mercy and grace of the LORD.
Luke 15:27 KJV And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
Luke 15:28 KJV And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
Luke 15:29 KJV And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
Luke 15:30 KJV But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
Luke 15:31 KJV And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
Luke 15:32 KJV It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
The Hebrews, God’s people, were not Jews then, and they are not Jews now.
Exodus 9:1 KJV Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
The grand purpose of all rulers is that they declare the Name of the LORD, the Ruler of heaven and earth, throughout the whole earth, whether they realize or accept this mission or not.
Exodus 9:16 KJV And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
Exodus 9:17 KJV As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
I believe there were Born-Again Egyptians who were not Hebrews.
Exodus 9:20 KJV He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
Exodus 9:21 KJV And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.
The difference between the repentance of Pharaoh and Judas and the people of God is who the Confessor is. The people of God confess their sins to God.
Exodus 9:27 KJV And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
There is something significant about the act of spreading our hands towards the LORD and heaven; there is a reason why the IFB (Independent Fundamental Baptist) camp refrains from such practices.
Exodus 9:33 KJV And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
Exodus 9:34 KJV And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
Job rebuked Bildad, his friend. Rebuke is part of love as God rebukes us.
Job 26:4 KJV To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
Father, thank You for Your loving correction. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
