The destruction of the temple in 70 AD serves as a near fulfillment of the prophecies in Matthew 24 and Luke 21, vividly illustrating the narrative Jesus shared with His disciples. However, I am convinced that there will also be a far fulfillment; in this scenario, a rebuilt temple, hosting the false Jewish messiah, will once again face destruction upon the glorious return of Jesus Christ our Lord. This future event is described with cosmic signs, the coming of the Son of Man in great glory, and the gathering of the elect from the four winds—elements that clearly surpass the historical events of 70 AD.

Luke 21:27 KJV And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28 KJV And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
