America is sick and needs the Physician and the Way.
Psalms 67:2 KJV That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
The Physician:
Matthew 9:12 KJV But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
The Way:
John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Who are the real perverters of the nations? Certain Jews accused Christ of being the perverter. But Jesus himself revealed the truth concerning the real culprits.
Luke 23:1 KJV And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.
Luke 23:2 KJV And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
The Perverters:
John 8:44 KJV Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
No one trusted their lies, perversions, and false accusations, not even Pilate.
Luke 23:13 KJV And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
Luke 23:14 KJV Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
America calls the perverters of nations her greatest ally. Is it any wonder that our president rides in a vehicle called "The Beast"?
Those who call Jesus Christ a perverter of nations are clearly the perverters of nations.
For many, Jesus is just more entertainment at another circus. Some even have the audacity to call such circuses 'churches'.
Luke 23:8 KJV And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
If Jesus refuses to answer your questions, perhaps you are asking for the wrong reasons.
Luke 23:9 KJV Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.
Many alliances are formed among those who mock Christ. All the more reason for those who worship Him to align.
Luke 23:10 KJV And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
Luke 23:11 KJV And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.
Luke 23:12 KJV And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.
The will of the state was to release Jesus. The will of the Jews opposed the good will of the state, as they do today.
Luke 23:20 KJV Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.
Luke 23:21 KJV But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.
Luke 23:22 KJV And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.
Luke 23:23 KJV And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
Luke 23:24 KJV And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
Luke 23:25 KJV And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
Jesus died for the sins of every man, woman, and child—past, present, and future. However, humanity must receive this forgiveness through faith. Imagine the gift of faith wrapped up like a present we give to our children. Now, envision this gift boxed and wrapped with grace, love, and forgiveness, containing the precious treasures of love, belief, repentance, and works within, which will accompany our faith for the remainder of our lives. Jesus interceded with the Father on behalf of those who participated in His crucifixion and the world. Because without this intercession, no one could come to Christ and receive His free gift of faith.
Luke 23:34 KJV Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
The Father's forgiveness has given us the opportunity to be forgiven through His Son, Jesus Christ.
John 6:44 KJV No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The first demonstration of the Father's forgiveness after Jesus' intercession is seen in one of the two thieves. According to Matthew and Mark, both thieves initially reviled Jesus, but Luke's account reveals a transformation. It is here, in Luke's Gospel, that we witness the Father's response to His Son's prayer, as one of the thieves experiences a profound change of heart, receiving the gift of faith by the grace of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 27:44 KJV The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
Mark 15:32 KJV Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
Luke 23:39 KJV And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
Luke 23:40 KJV But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
Luke 23:41 KJV And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
Luke 23:42 KJV And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luke 23:43 KJV And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
All of salvation is all of God.
Thank God we are forgiven by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
God called me to serve a career in the military as an enlisted soldier, similar to a legionnaire during the time of the crucifixion. Therefore, I was neither an officer nor a centurion. I retired as a Master Sergeant after 22 years, a rank that would have been responsible for carrying out the details of crucifixions in a supervisory role under the orders of appointed officers. Some Christians in the past have questioned how my service to the nation could coexist with my service to God, especially considering the nature of such duties. However, they have sadly underestimated the transformative power of God's love, which saves and redeems, as exemplified by the centurion's public declaration. This centurion, like the one Jesus praised for having great faith, proclaimed the dual nature of Jesus Christ: the Righteous Son of man and the Holy Son of God.
Luke 23:47 KJV Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
Mark 15:39 KJV — And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
A good Jew is a Christian Jew. Good Jews were pioneers of the New Testament Church. Why were they good? Because of the goodness of Christ.
Luke 23:50 KJV And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
Luke 23:51 KJV (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.
My uncle pastored a small church for a brief period of time. When you read passages such as this, you can better understand why a deacon would say that he should punch him in the face at one of their church meetings. I have yet to experience such hostility in the church, and if I did, I would need the utmost strength to restrain my flesh and tongue.
Exodus 17:4 KJV And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
Amalek: ‘America’s Greatest Ally’
Exodus 17:11 KJV And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
Exodus 17:16 KJV For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
Job did not lie. He knew his righteousness was the righteousness of Christ and that He had borne our judgment.
Job 34:5 KJV For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
If the hypocrites reign, the nation is ensnared in delusion. Welcome to America.
Job 34:30 KJV That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
The irony is that the wise are often mocked as unwise because of the uncontrollable calamities and circumstances that befall them. Some things never change.
Job 34:35 KJV Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
Father, strengthen us to stand strong in the face of calamity and uncertainty. We are weak, but You are mighty. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
