If you have been approved by the Father and given to the Son, you will not only not be cast out, you will never seek to be cast out, and you will seek to do the Father’s will. Of course, we fall short at times of the Father’s will and thsi is why the gift of faith grants us the ability to repent. Those who lack such repentance are not sealed with such faith.

It is never a matter of losing salvation, for God’s gift of faith can never die. It is always a distinction between manna and the Bread of Life. Unbelievers partake of God’s physical sustenance every day, just as the unbelieving children of Israel did with the manna. Those granted eternal life then, and those granted eternal life now, are partakers of the Bread of Life. by the gift of faith.

Clearly, this is not the doctrine of transubstantiation, in which a priest transforms the wafer and wine into the literal physical body and blood of Jesus Christ, to be consumed in a cannibalistic manner. If baptism and this doctrine were necessary for salvation, the thief on the cross, along with many others, would be condemned. Just as the physical consumption of manna did not bring salvation, neither do these symbolic expressions of our faith save us. If they did, in and of themselves, many who lack faith but have been forcibly baptized or have taken communion would be saved.
John 6:52 KJV The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
