If your life does not produce the fruit of Christ, you are not of the True Vine. If you produce the fruit of Christ, it's because your life has been pruned by the Word of God.

Part of my discussion with Matt Furst was my ordination. I did not have a sending church or an ordained pastor lay hands on me for my ordination back in 2008. Five men from our local church plant recognized my calling and ordination from the LORD and laid hands upon me in prayer and then signed my ordination paper. This would be contrary to many Christian denominations, but it is not contrary to the Word of God. Would I refuse a sending church or another elder or group of elders from praying for me in this manner? No, unless I did not largely agree with them. However, even then I would never refuse prayer. If you are not ordained by Christ, you have no business being ordained by men. Ordained men of Christ are simply to acknowledge those who have been ordained by God.
Pedophiles have been ordained by men. Preachers are ordained by God.

The people of God worshipped Jesus Christ then too.

If you know the name of JESUS and are His friend, you have found grace in the Lord’s sight.

Notice the language of "thy way" and "rest."

If the LORD knows you intimately by name, you have been shown mercy and grace through Jesus Christ.
