Many would be surprised to learn how many Israeli dual citizens hold governing positions in America. If this dual citizenship was rooted by faith in the King of Zion, I would rejoice. Until then, I will lament. To be a true citizen of Zion, one must be born again.
Psalms 87:5-6 KJV And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
John 3:7 KJV Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Jesus Christ is the King and the Man, possessing all the righteous authority that accompanies these titles, which are rightfully held only by the God-Man, the Truth who has been mocked by many until they can mock no more.
John 19:3 KJV And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
John 19:4 KJV Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
John 19:5 KJV Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
Gospilled Minute #116
Pilate clearly stated three times to the Jews:
"I find in him no fault at all" (John 18:38).
"I find no fault in him" (John 19:4).
"I find no fault in him" (John 19:6).
Nevertheless, the Jews blasphemed God by accusing the Son of God of blasphemy. Pilate had every reason to be more afraid.
John 19:7 KJV The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
John 19:8 KJV When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
Jesus rebuked Pilate while also pitying him. He corrected Pilate regarding the power he held, which he mistakenly believed was granted by the state, when in fact it was given to him by God. At the same time, Jesus pitied Pilate for falling prey to the deceitful influence of the antichrist Jewish lobbyists, whose power had reduced him to a mere puppet.
John 19:9 KJV And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
John 19:10 KJV Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
John 19:11 KJV Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
HaHaHa! Who are the Jews to dictate to Pilate, who is a friend of Caesar, when they are merely his leeches? Nevertheless, patriotism – 'America First' – should never supersede 'Christ First!' Do not let the Jews fool you otherwise.
John 19:12 KJV And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
John 19:13 KJV When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
There is a reason that 'they' want to stop us from preaching the Book of John.
The Jews crucified the King of the Jews. You will ultimately side with one or the other, and there are Christians today who would rather side with the crucifiers and Caesar than with the King.
John 19:14 KJV And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
John 19:15 KJV But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
In Christ, we too must bear our cross to the place of the skull, commonly known as death.
John 19:17 KJV And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
Pilate ensured that the Jews would never forget that they had crucified the King of the Jews, the Son of God, the Man.
John 19:19 KJV And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
John 19:20 KJV This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
John 19:21 KJV Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
Deny this truth if you want, child of hell! It is written!
John 19:22 KJV Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
You can gamble with faith if you want, but you will lose.
John 19:23 KJV Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
John 19:24 KJV They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
The more I preach, the more followers I lose, as it should be. Follow Jesus!
It's very plausible that Mary was a widow at the time of Jesus' crucifixion and death, which is why Jesus ensured her care. God has always shown concern for widows, and we should follow His example and obey his command to care for them too.
John 19:25 KJV Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
John 19:26 KJV When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
John 19:27 KJV Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
If you have ever run a race, you understand this thirst. Even though Jesus endured a bitter end for us, He made a glorious return as our undefeated Christ and King, the Lord and Man!
John 19:28 KJV After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
John 19:29 KJV Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
John 19:30 KJV When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Jesus died according to the Scriptures, so that we could have life according to Him.
John 19:33 KJV But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
John 19:34 KJV But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
John 19:35 KJV And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
John 19:36 KJV For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
John 19:37 KJV And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
The Jews will never be able to erase the memory of Jesus Christ, the Lord and Son of God, from their memories.
John 19:37 KJV And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
Pilate, a man of the state, and Nicodemus, a man of the Jews, may have seemed like unlikely candidates for salvation. Yet, they both remained sympathetic to the life and death of Jesus. Perhaps we will meet them both in glory? Eternity will tell.
John 19:38 KJV And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
John 19:39 KJV And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
John 19:40 KJV Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
John 19:41 KJV Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
John 19:42 KJV There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
I have no problem with the seven-branched lampstand that represents the Light of the world, Jesus Christ. The unbelieving Jews have the problem.
Exodus 37:23 KJV And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
John 8:12 KJV Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
I began serving Christ at 18, and I have no desire to change course now.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 KJV Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Our spirits are either in the hand of God's grace or in the hand of His wrath.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
The authentic preacher of God's Word hammers home eternal truths that pierce the soul with the unyielding force of a nail, sticking through the test of time. In contrast, peddling commercial preachers hand out Band-Aids that fall away after a few washes.
Ecclesiastes 12:9 KJV And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
Ecclesiastes 12:10 KJV The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
Ecclesiastes 12:11 KJV The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
Christian men and women, behold your duty!
Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecclesiastes 12:14 KJV For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Father, may we accomplish Your perfect will, which is our duty, today. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
