Praise the LORD!
Psalms 148:13 KJV Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
Is it possible to have a vain belief in Jesus Christ that is not greater than a devil’s belief—a belief that cannot save because it is faithless? Of course! A faithless belief does not embrace the Scriptures or the fundamental truths they contain, including the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord. I say "Lord" because, yes, He is God too. Ben Shapiro believes that Jesus lived too and was just a "Jew, not even a prophet, who tried to lead a revolt against the Romans and got himself killed for his trouble."
1 Corinthians 15:1 KJV Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1 Corinthians 15:2 KJV By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 KJV And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
You have not believed in vain if you have received the grace of God.
1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
There were many witnesses concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:6 KJV After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15:7 KJV After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
1 Corinthians 15:8 KJV And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
It is the resurrection of Jesus Christ that has convinced me of the gift of faith I have received, and it is this resurrection and this faith that keep me convinced.
1 Corinthians 15:12 KJV Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
1 Corinthians 15:13 KJV But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1 Corinthians 15:14 KJV And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
1 Corinthians 15:15 KJV Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
1 Corinthians 15:16 KJV For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1 Corinthians 15:17 KJV And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Israel was commanded to annihilate all the Midianites except for the virgin women and children. By today’s standards, this would be considered genocidal war crimes, violating international law. However, under God’s law at that time, it was not unlawful; it served to protect the lineage of the Seed—the promised Savior—who would come to redeem all who trust in Him. There is no excuse for the genocidal actions of the antichrist Israel of our day.
Numbers 31:1 KJV And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Numbers 31:2 KJV Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
Numbers 31:3 KJV And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
Numbers 31:16 KJV Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
Numbers 31:17 KJV Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
Isaiah 53, often called the 'Forbidden Chapter' by many Messianic Jews, clearly describes the Messiah and His suffering. Traditional Jewish interpretations avoid it due to its striking parallels with Jesus’ life and death.
Isaiah 53:1 KJV Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Isaiah 53:2 KJV For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isaiah 53:3 KJV He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Isaiah 53:4 KJV Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:5 KJV But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:6 KJV All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:7 KJV He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isaiah 53:8 KJV He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Isaiah 53:9 KJV And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isaiah 53:10 KJV Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Nearly a couple of years ago, I had a conversation with a Jew from Israel. The conversation began with Nick bashing Christianity and the King James Bible but ended on a good note with Isaiah 53.
Father, we pray for Nick. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
